Our Bunnies
Here at FiddleFart Critter Ranch we do our best to socialize every rabbit at the earliest age safely possible. Whether their destiny be for breeding, showing, a family pet, or providing meat for a family meal we believe each rabbit deserves respect and love. We believe our gentle atmosphere benefits all aspects of our rabbitry for both our animals and our customers.
When available, our rabbitry equally offers both the blue and black variations of the Silver Fox Rabbit. At this time, we do not breed/raise the chocolate variation. If you are interested, please be sure to request an invoice to be put on our waiting list!
We do accept down payment/reservations for future litters. If we have rabbits available after waiting list(s) have been filled, the rabbits will be available on a first come, first serve basis. After paying a "reservation invoice" we will send you a "full payment invoice" when your choice color/sex of Silver Fox Rabbit is available, or earlier if requested. To avoid any delays, don't forget to note what color (Blue or Black) and sex of bunny you desire! Reservation and advance full payments are not refundable, but instead will roll over to upcoming Silver Fox Rabbit litters if chosen sex or color of rabbit desired is not produced from current litter(s).
It is strongly suggested to request a reservation invoice and be put on our waiting list because any rabbits not sold at or shortly after weaning age are used to meet our customer demand for rabbit meat. Buyers get to choose from available kits in the order that they are on the waiting list and/or paid in full.
Within a reasonable distance, we may be available to deliver a purchased rabbit, or you may pick up your purchased rabbit at a predetermined scheduled time/date. We are unable to ship rabbits at this time.
A note to our customers:
The health of your rabbit is guaranteed on the day of sale as follows: There are no visible signs of disease, e.g., diarrhea, eye or nasal discharge, malocclusion, sore hocks, infections, wounds, abscesses, broken bones or other deformities.
We do our best to educate new bunny owners on the care required for a healthy animal. With advance notice (and possibly larger down payment), we may have package prices for families purchasing a new bunny that will include a starter habitat, which comes with a small amount of feed, a water bottle, and extras to ensure a good start to your bunny's new home. This is to be considered as a start up package, meaning your bunny may need a larger habitat as it grows to adult size. We may also have carrier cages available for purchase to safely transport your rabbit home.
In order to prevent any of our rabbits from ending up abandoned or in shelters, at our discretion we may accept back any rabbit you have purchased from us at anytime, but you will not be entitled to a refund or reimbursement for any purchase or other expenses you have incurred with the rabbit. It is expected that any returned rabbit will have received good care, and be in equal health as when it was purchased. For the health and safety of our own rabbits, a visual inspection by us will be required prior to our acceptance of a returned rabbit. We understand many unforeseen circumstances may prevent continued ownership of a rabbit and encourage our customers to contact us if that becomes the case.
We do our best to accurately sex rabbits before they are purchased, but occasionally mistakes do happen, especially at younger ages. If we sex your rabbit incorrectly, and the mistake negatively affects you or if the rabbit was purchased for a breeding program, please contact us to try to rectify the problem.
We provide a detailed pedigree with every rabbit sold upon request, and keep detailed records of our rabbits for future reference. (Duplicate pedigrees may be available with proof of purchase for a small fee in case the customer loses their original copy.) Please inform us if your bunny passes away so that we may update our records.
We reserve the right to sell or not to sell to any individual or group.
